Like Sands Through the Hourglass...

So…I started thinking about things I am currently doing, things I want to do, and/or things I used to do. Along with this train of thought…I began thinking of people I keep in contact with and all of those people that I haven’t gotten the chance to catch up with in quite some time. Why does it sometimes seem like you have all the time in the world and yet not enough time to do everything you want.

This reflection came about for two reasons. The first reason was the fact that I had to spend quite some time catching up with emails, phone calls, etc. last week to people. Now I had every intention of getting back to people earlier, but just never had the time to. The second reason was the result of a conversation I had with a coworker of mine. She found out that I used to paint and asked to see some of my work. While I was showing her some of my work, I realized that I couldn’t remember the last time I painted and I really do enjoy painting.

So the point of all my rambling is that I’m going to make more of a conscious effort to be better about keeping in touch with people and try to make more time for things I enjoy doing such as painting. Hell…If I can make time for all the frivolous things…then I certainly can make time for the more important things.

You can do it! I believe in you.

Hey, so I have a technical question & I'm posting here because I probably won't remember to ask you otherwise. How do you get your pictures to post with text around them? When I post a picture, it's like that picture takes up that entire area & text is above/below it. see jenstamps.blogspot for example.

Okay, I just checked out your other blog. I'm thinking what you need to do is adjust the size of your pics and the positioning.

If you mark it to upload them say large, they will take up a lot of space. I usually upload them as small.

Also, in the areas where I've got text around the pics, I made sure to position the pic for either the right or left instead of center when uploading. Takes up less room.

Let me know if that helps. Otherwise, I can just show you the next time I see you..well when we're near a computer anyway.
