Saturday I met up with some old Jr. High/High School drama friends and some of their families. Our former Jr. High School teacher Karla was directing "The Music Man" at Auburn Riverside High School so we decided to go see the show together. We met up for dinner right before the show to catch up for a bit and then headed to the show. Some of us had kept in touch and some of us hadn't seen eachother in years. We were all in different classes so we hadn't even gotten the chance to see everyone at our reunions. This was the first time that all of us had been together in like 16 years. It was so great to see everyone and find out how everyone was doing!
The play was pretty good and I'm just amazed that all the kids managed to be able to make it through the entire thing. Although I did not
On Sunday I had my first experience making Russian food. Anna R. invited us down to her place to get a chance to get together and to make some Pelmenis. These were basically Russian dumplings which reminded me a lot of tortellini. It was a fun night of making food, cooking food, having drinks, and just having a good time all around. Plus it was great hanging out with everyone now that we're more relaxed and all enjoying our break!
